Background:
From the wealthy areas of Corulag hails Mychael Ng. He comes from a long line of military officers dating back to the beginning of the Old Republic. His grandfather was the commander of the first VSD and his father was the commander of the first ISD. He has served with many famous Imperial heroes among them are Thrawn and Tarkin. His family was a wealthy one and indulged the young man's strange preoccupation with history and especially Corulag naval history. Another hobby of the young man's involved wargaming, he especially enjoyed reenacting naval battles from the glory days of the Republic and of the foundation of Palpatine's glorious New Order.
As his family was wealthy enough they could afford to stay out of politics and consequently the young man, while loyal to the Imperial regime, was not a member of SAGroup. Instead, he holds his oath of loyalty to the Imperial Navy and the Emperor to be much more important instead. He went to the Imperial Naval Academy on Corulag and did well enough, he was in the top 10% of the graduating class and it was thought he would reach the pinnacle of command and serve as a Star Destroyer captain like his father and grandfather. They were career navy men who never rose past captain as their skills were more suited to the bridge of a starship rather than strategic concerns of an admiral.
After graduating from the Academy he was assigned to
anti-pirate duties in the Outer Rim on a corvette. He was a tactical officer on that ship
and served reasonably well, despite the boring nature that accompanies anti-pirate duties.
Then he served another stint as the Executive Officer on a Dreadnaught in the Outer Rim
performing more anti-pirate duties. After he distinguished himself defeating two rebel
frigates when the captain was injured he was given his promotion to Captain and command of
his own ship. Mychael Ng's first command was the VSD Commandant, which served as a
pacification vessel in the Outer Rim. He continued in this capacity up until the Battle of
Endor. After the defeat at Endor and serving 5 years around unloyal fools with little hope
of victory, Grand Admiral Thrawn returned and restored what was left of Ng's fighting
spirit. He was promoted from command of the VSD Commandant and moved to the ISD Nemesis, a
ship that was part of the grand admiral's personal armada. Unfortunately after the defeat
at Bilbringi and Thrawn's death, Ng took the ISD Nemesis and fled to a rendevous with his
old friend Vice Admiral Viktor Mallagant. There he joined the Second Imperium and served
in Ragnarok Fleet faithfully, defeating enemies from the rebel scum that plagued the
galaxy to Galactic Sedition forces. In one such battle under Fleet Admiral Nomad's command
he boarded and captured an enemy ISD. He was promoted to Vice Admiral after numerous years
of service as a Line Captain in Ragnarok Fleet, once commanding the Alpha Attack Line from
the bridge of his flagship 'Thrawn's Revenge'. After a brief stint as Brevet Fleet Admiral
in command of Ragnarok Fleet he was reassigned to head up a new force, Longsword Squadron.
Personality:
Mychael Ng is a pleasant and calm person when confronted in battle. However he does not believe in lies and prefers to be brutally honest. To him the ideals of the New Order are all that stand between chaos and order.
Objectives:
To help the Empire regain all that it has lost and restore the undiluted glory of the New Order.
A Quote:
"Let us show these fools what we mean when we say 'The full might of the Empire'."
