Imperial Army Offensive Units
The Imperial Hammers are the Army element of Military Command, under the command of a Surface Marshal who reports to the Lord Admiral. The Imperial Hammers' eight Attack Battlegroups are assembled into two Attack Corps, one under the command of the Surface Marshal and the other under the command of a General (the Surface Marshal's XO). The Surface Marshal and General also command the lead Attack Battlegroup in their Attack Corps. The remaining Attack Battlegroups are under the command of Major Generals. All eight of the Attack Battlegroups are Armored (Repulsortank) Battlegroups. The designation of two Attack Corps does not include the Corps HQs or their accompanying Auxiliary Battlegroups. The Supreme Commander may also directly contact any Battlegroup commander to issue additional orders.
